Submissions · Worldwide

Your work may be ready for a wider world.

Choose the path that fits your work, complete one form, and our team will route it internally. You do not need to contact different departments or prepare a separate proposal.

Stories. Art. Possibility.

What are you submitting?

Step 2 · Prepare your submission

Send the right material, the right way.

We welcome direct submissions from authors and author-illustrators, and we also accept projects submitted on their behalf by literary agents, editors, publishers and other publishing professionals.

Professional submissions are welcome. If you are an agent, editor or publisher submitting on behalf of a creator, use the same form below and select your role. Please include the creator’s name and any relevant representation or publishing context in the notes.
Picture books

Text-only or illustrated

  • Complete manuscript, up to 1,000 words.
  • For author-illustrators: a complete illustrated book or picture-book dummy is welcome.
  • If artwork is still in development, include representative sketches and preferably at least two finished colour samples.
  • Illustration notes are only needed when a visual detail is essential to understanding the story.
Chapter books

Complete manuscript

  • Complete manuscript, up to 15,000 words.
  • Include a short synopsis covering the main plot and ending.
  • If the project is illustrated, sample artwork may be included.
  • Please state the intended reader age and total word count.
Illustrators

Portfolio or book dummy

  • Share an accessible portfolio link or a single consolidated PDF.
  • Sequential work, character consistency and children’s publishing samples are especially useful.
  • Author-illustrators may submit the full book dummy through the Literary Representation route.
  • For art representation only, choose the Illustrator pathway below.

File preparation

  • Text: DOC, DOCX or PDF; clear 12-point font, approximately 1.5 line spacing and numbered pages.
  • Illustrated projects: preferably one consolidated PDF rather than separate image files.
  • Maximum file size for shared or uploaded material: 20 MB.
  • Submit one project at a time and do not use password-protected files.
  • Include the book title and creator name on the manuscript or dummy.

For literary representation

  • Submit complete, carefully revised children’s book projects rather than unfinished drafts.
  • We do not review adult fiction, screenplays or academic/educational textbooks through this pathway.
  • Please do not submit an idea alone without a manuscript or book project.
  • Picture-book manuscripts over 1,000 words or chapter-book manuscripts over 15,000 words fall outside our current representation guidelines.

Still developing the idea? That is welcome at TaAseman too. If your manuscript is unfinished, you have an early concept, or you need editing, illustration, layout or full production support, choose Book Development instead of Literary Representation.

Submit your work

One form. The right pathway.

Using this form is our recommended submission method. Complete it once and your information will be routed to the right review path. Google Drive, Dropbox, Behance and other accessible links are welcome. If you prefer email, you may send your submission to TaAseman.Studio@gmail.com, following the same guidelines above.

Submitting does not mean TaAseman will publish or finance the project. Depending on the work, we may consider it for representation, commissioned collaboration, book development or another professional opportunity. We only contact applicants when there is a relevant next step.
